Oh Peter I have ALWAYS wanted some of this! I'm guessing it won't grow around here.
you could try it. this one died back to the ground in last year's freeze (4 nights down to 28f) but I cut it all back and it came back. very drought tolerant once it gets established. I'm going to train this one into a tree. the thorns are vicious.
Hey thanks for the encouragement. Maybe I will try it. It is getting pretty mild around here even in the winter.
