Oh, I can't even begin to tell you the things I have done on that street and in that bar, and it sure was fun. Things have changed a lot in Key West now that the big ocean liners are docking there. Lots of the old local charm is gone, but Sloppy Joe's is still there, thank goodness!
we were there a couple of times in the early 80s. we would drive down from Detroit for Christmas and New-years. I saw a recent picture and Sloppy Joe's looks the same but the building in the background is all freshly painted and the street looks spiffier.
